Johannes Neubert
Actor
Johannes got his first taste of the theatre stage in 2011 with the Bonn University Shakespeare Company. After completing his degree in English Studies and Philosophy, he moved to England to study at East 15 Acting School. During this time, he studied Shakespeare at Shakespeare’s Globe in London and Chekhov at the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (GITIS) in Moscow. In 2020, he returned to Germany and has since been active in the independent theatre scene in the Cologne/Bonn area. In 2024, he decided to put more focus on his screen acting skills and attended further training courses and workshops on film acting.
Alongside his love of Shakespeare and other classics, Johannes enjoys roles with depth and versatility, and above all a touch of humour - as a Rhineland native, he believes it is important to never lose the ability to laugh at oneself.
Johannes works freelance as a translator (including James Bond novels) and has adapted several classic stories for the theatre.
