Ella Peartree
Actress
Ella Peartree is an actress and playwright based in Essex, only 30 minutes from London Liverpool Street. At this moment in time, she has chosen to forgo traditional drama school training in order to continue taking on professional projects. Most recently, she played the roles of 'Macduff's Son, Fleance, Young Siward, and Donalbain', in a touring, open-air production of Macbeth. Throughout the run, she worked closely with a stunt coordinator and learnt skills in stage combat and broadsword fighting. Ella's childhood in East Anglia has been formative in the growth of her craft. It's rich folklore and history encouraged her to learn all she could about the 17th century civil war and witch trials which inspired her first full-length play. Ella's knowledge of the 17th century helped her land her first professional theatre role of 'Grace Parry' in 'Bury Me in Colchester Mud', a historical drama set during the seige of Colchester in 1648. Alongside her work in theatre, Ella has over a year of experience working in live, immersive entertainment. She is highly confident at working with children and creating memorable experiences through excellent improvisation, comedy, and singing. Although Ella is more experienced in forms of live entertainment, she has been working with a 1:1 acting tutor, Richard Bland (MA Bristol Old Vic), to hone her skills in screen acting. This month she'll be playing a featured role in the short film 'James and Flora' produced by 'Film Suffolk', a company currently featured on Amazon Prime. It should be noted that Ella has an enhanced DBS check, is trained in paediatric first aid, and has a valid UK passport.
