Actress
Trained with focus on film and television, Emma has played challenging roles for primetime TV like Tatort or Polizeiruf 110. Her most recent film “Polizeiruf 110 - Bis Mitternacht” was directed by Dominik Graf and won the Television Film Award of the German Academy of Performing Arts of the Television Film Festival in Baden-Baden, among others for acting performance. This is Emma’s third film working with the renowned director Dominik Graf. Emma Jane’s first feature, the WWI drama “Behind Enemy Lines”, won four festival awards and was nominated for Best Film at the Shanghai International Film Festival in 2016. She studied Meisner technique under Jacqueline McClintock and was praised especially for her believability and changeability of character. Emma feels most at peace when in the mountains, be that hiking or skiing. She started horseback riding and ballet at the age of 5, and later added badminton, windsurfing and the gym to her list of recreational activities. In addition to her acting diploma, Emma holds a double master’s degree in International Management and is looking forward to working in the next Emmy Award series or any historic, or even action, feature.
