About me

English	Hi there, I'm Blake. I'm a professional actor and singer. I was born originally in South Africa but am also a British citizen since birth and lived there for over twenty years and moved back to the United Kingdom where I worked professionally as an actor since around 2004. I now live in Germany and absolutely love it here. I also speak German. Apart from being an actor I've always felt I would have been a therapist in a previous life. I find psychology fascinating and understanding the psyche of people and what really goes on. I find mythology, symbol and psychological profiling fascinating and i really think it helps with being an actor and creating characters. One of the most profound realisations I had was that everyone has their own point of view and speaks from that agenda and we can never REALLY know what another's motivations are unless we clearly communicate. I'm convinced that the arts are healing and also a vocation, a bit like the shamans of many civilisations would be . Hope this gives you a bit of an idea of some of my passions!

German	Hallo, ich bin Blake. Ich bin ein professioneller Schauspieler und Sänger. Ich wurde ursprünglich in Südafrika geboren, bin aber seit meiner Geburt auch britischer Staatsbürger und habe dort über zwanzig Jahre lang gelebt. Dann zog ich zurück ins Vereinigte Königreich, wo ich seit etwa 2004 professionell als Schauspieler arbeite. Jetzt lebe ich in Deutschland und liebe es hier sehr. Ich spreche auch Deutsch. Abgesehen davon, dass ich Schauspieler bin, hatte ich schon immer das Gefühl, dass ich in einem früheren Leben Therapeut geworden wäre. Ich finde Psychologie faszinierend und verstehe die Psyche der Menschen und was wirklich vor sich geht. Ich finde Mythologie, Symbole und psychologisches Profiling faszinierend, und ich glaube, es hilft mir wirklich dabei, Schauspieler zu sein und Charaktere zu erschaffen. Eine der tiefgreifendsten Erkenntnisse, die ich hatte, war, dass jeder seinen eigenen Standpunkt hat und aus diesem heraus spricht, und dass wir nie WIRKLICH wissen können, was die Beweggründe eines anderen sind, wenn wir nicht klar kommunizieren. Ich bin davon überzeugt, dass die Künste heilsam und auch eine Berufung sind, ähnlich wie es die Schamanen vieler Zivilisationen waren. Ich hoffe, dies gibt Ihnen einen kleinen Einblick in einige meiner Leidenschaften!
